We know Greenland

As Skanska Greenland Ltd. withdrew from the country in 2003, GNC Ltd. was founded by Niels Meinel who bought a large portion of Skanska’s construction facilities. Over the years GNC has grown, and today we have a staff of 40 skilled employees and approximately 80 machines that are suited for the arctic environment.

In 2010, GNC merged with Polar Entreprenøren Ltd., owned by Torkil Bislev and Lars Pavia Madsen. By doing so, we have strengthened our capability to undertake larger projects in the oil- and mining industry.

Greenland is a new world to many of our customers. Thanks to our extensive knowledge of local conditions and companies,
we are able to meet their challenges quickly and efficiently.

We perform reparations and maintenance in our mechanical workshop and the adjacent metal workshop. As the only construction company in Nuuk, we operate our own quarry.

With our mobile crushing- and sorting plant, we are able to supply crushed and broken stones of all sizes and perform crushing where our customers need it. Furthermore, we own and run facilities for concrete production.
